Lab Safety Awareness Week is an event held at academic institutions nationwide to recognize lab safety and best practices for preventing injury and illness in the laboratory. By ensuring that individuals are properly educated in lab safety and how to handle possible hazards, we can ensure an optimal experience in the lab while simultaneously preserving the environment.
